President Bola Tinubu has forwarded the names of three Resident Electoral Commissioners to the Senate for approval.
The correspondence was read by the President of the Senate, Sen. Godswill Akpabio during plenary on Tuesday.
He also submitted the names of two Federal commissioners: Tukur AbdulRazak (Northwest) and Professor Sunday Ajah (Southeast).

The request has been subsequently referred to the Committee on the Independent National Electoral Commission, which is expected to review the nominations and report back promptly.
