The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced a scheduled four-day power outage that will affect Lekki, Ikoyi, Jakande, and surrounding areas of Lagos State.

TCN’s General Manager of Public Affairs, Ndidi Mbah, disclosed this in a statement released on X on Wednesday.

According to the statement, the planned outage is slated to take place on October 11, 12, 18, and 19, 2025, and will last for eight hours daily, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. TCN explained that the interruption is part of preventive maintenance activities on its 330 kilovolt (kV) transmission lines in the area.

The maintenance on the Ajah/Lekki 330kV line will enable TCN’s contractor to install a transformer protective system on the 300MVA 330/132/33kV power transformer at the Alagbon Transmission Substation,” the company stated.
