The Presidential Tax Reforms Committee has announced the launch of a new award to recognise journalists and digital influencers who demonstrate excellence in reporting Nigeria’s ongoing fiscal reforms.
Unveiling the initiative in Abuja on Wednesday, the committee said the award aims to encourage accurate, insightful, and impactful reporting on tax and economic policies that shape the nation’s development.
Chairman of the Committee, Mr. Taiwo Oyedele, explained that the recognition will promote transparency and deepen public understanding of government tax reforms.
“The media plays a vital role in informing citizens and shaping public perception. This award celebrates professionalism, factual accuracy, and the courage to simplify complex fiscal issues,” Oyedele stated.
