Rahman Jago confirms Burna Boy’s conversion to Islam

Rahman Jago, associate of Grammy Award-winning Afrofusion star Burna Boy, has confirmed his conversion from Christianity to Islam.

Jago shared a video of Burna Boy praising Allah, sparking widespread reactions and debate among fans and followers.

Bashir Ahmad, former aide to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, commented on the video of Burna Boy praising Allah, describing him as “so happy” and wishing him ease in his Islamic journey, “May Allah (SWT) make it so easy for him.”

When a fan asked Ahmad to confirm if Burna Boy had truly converted, he replied that some of the singer’s associates claimed he had, but Burna Boy himself hadn’t officially confirmed.

Rahman Jago, however, categorically stated that Burna Boy has converted to Islam, writing, “He converted.” He is now a Muslim.”

Burna Boy, who comes from a Christian background, stated in a recent podcast that he had embraced Islam “at some point” in pursuit of truth.

He confirmed his conversion during a livestream with Plaueboymax, where he shared his views on creation.
