Former lawmaker, who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani, has advised Nigerians living in the United States to lie low and continue to pray against deportation by President Donald Trump.
Sani gave this advice in a post on his verified X handle on Tuesday.
According to him, Trump has said that 33 percent of Nigerian immigrants living in the United States are dependent on Government benefits.
He wrote, “Those in this category should lie low and continue to pray. Everything now depends on his moods. For him to have the figures off hand, you know what it means.

Replying, an X user, @DannymasterP said, “Nigerians and Africa should learn to wake up in President Trump regime and realize that no place is better than home.
“Nigeria is our home for all and the earlier we learn to have patience and apply all the dedication it takes to build something productive in our country, Nigeria and contribute to National development, we can’t stop receiving all the insults outside Africa.”
