Deeone set for Guinness World Record

Popular comedian and reality TV personality Aderombi Adedayo Martin, popularly known as DeeOne, is preparing to set a new world record for the longest stand-up comedy performance.

Deronke disclosed this in an Instagram video on Friday, where he said he is set to push the limits of his creativity with a 40-hour marathon show scheduled from October 2 to 4, 2025.

Footage from the event, held in Opebi, Ikeja, Lagos State, shows the performance being carefully monitored, with a visible timer tracking the hours.

The comedian also shared the announcement on a post with a flier styled like a traditional burial poster, a testament to his humorous nature.

If DeeOne succeeds, he will become one of the few comedians worldwide to accomplish such an extraordinary milestone.

The announcement comes days after another former BBNaija housemate, Natasha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, revealed plans to attempt a Guinness World Record for the most makeovers in 24 hours.

Tacha’s three-day beauty festival will run from October 10 to 12, 2025, at the John Randle Centre for Yorùbá Culture & History, highlighting Nigeria’s thriving beauty industry.

With these back-to-back record-breaking attempts by former reality stars, October promises to be a historic month for Nigerian entertainment.
