Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu, widely known as Burna Boy, has caused a stir online after abruptly ordering a couple to leave his concert in Denver, United States, on Wednesday night.
The artiste claimed the couple was “sleeping” midway through his performance.
The incident occurred when the singer paused his set and directed his attention to a couple near the front of the stage.
Burna Boy being frustrated, demanded the male fan take his girlfriend home, stating her lack of enthusiasm was a distraction.
“When I stand up here [on the stage] and see you over there with your girl sleeping in the front of me, it pisses me the fk up. So, please, take her the fk home… Walahi I’m not performing another song till you go home,” the singer fumed at the crowd.

Initially, the couple seemed reluctant to leave, but the crowd began chanting for them to exit after Burna Boy refused to continue the show. The pair eventually walked out, prompting the singer to resume his performance.
Burna Boy resumed his performance after the couple left the concert.
His action has sparked mixed reactions, with many berating him for kicking ticket holders out of his concert.
Recall that Burna Boy previously made similar headlines after he kicked a starstruck male fan who stormed the stage to hug him while he was performing.
He also once asked a fan to leave his concert for not dancing while he was performing.
The singer has earned a reputation for controversially kicking fans out of his concert for trivial reasons.
