Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy has released a new collaborative track, ”TaTaTa,” with American rapper Jacques Webster, professionally known as Travis Scott.
Burna Boy announced the release of on Thursday via an Instagram post, “Tatata” as a roll-out track expected to be part of his upcoming eighth studio album, “No Sign of Weakness.”.
The track features a blend of Brazilian funk, Afrobeats, pop-rap, and Nigerian pidgin, creating an intoxicating global rhythm that is already generating buzz across streaming platforms.
Produced by Chillz Chilleaux and MillaMix, “Tatata” exudes sensual energy, underpinned by lyrics that allude to sexual attraction and nightlife indulgence.
The title “Tatata” is derived from internet slang and used as a euphemism for sexual intercourse, aligning with the song’s provocative lyrics that describe a woman’s body and intimate experiences. The song also includes a subtle nod to the controversial sex tape scandal involving Equatorial Guinea’s Baltasar Engonga, adding layers of cultural commentary to its narrative.

This release “Tatata” comes as part of the buildup to Burna Boy’s highly anticipated No Sign of Weakness album, a project he has described as a reflection of his personal and artistic evolution. The album follows a string of successful singles, including the reggae-tinged “Sweet Love” and the streaming juggernaut “Bundle By Bundle,” which has amassed over 24 million Spotify streams and 8.5 million video views.
