Popular skit maker and streamer, Carter Efe, has disclosed that he separated from his baby mama, Emmanuella, more than a year ago.
In a series of Instagram posts, Carter Efe revealed that the relationship negatively affected his mental health, finances, and creativity, leaving him struggling to think clearly, create content, and maintain stability.
He described the period as a painful experience, especially due to being separated from his child, but noted that the decision to walk away marked a turning point in his life and career.
According to him, his recent growth and increased visibility in the streaming space are closely linked to the separation, adding that he is now in a much better place emotionally and professionally.
Sharing his experience, he wrote, “Just to let you know guys have been single for over 1 year now. God is good!!!! I saw mad changes in my life.
“This lady has frustrated my whole life to the extent I trend everyday for beating a lady……..For good 2 years i lost everything, I lost my mindset, I cannot think or shoot content,I got broke………….
“Good 3 months I didn’t see my kid! CHARIS. I never let that hold me down on my grind.
“This days you guys noticed have been happy and active it’s because I was able to move away since! !!!!!
“GOD IS GOOD. You left me for good 5 months only to come and see that I’m the biggest streamer in Africa

Meanwhile, Carter Efe’s girlfriend and baby mama, Emmanuella, has responded to claims, expressing shock and hurt over his posts about their private life.
Reacting to the claims, the mother of one alleged that Carter Efe had controlled her life, stopping her from working and pursuing her acting dreams.
She also claimed that he had blocked her female friends and family, and even threatened to take away her social media platform.
The baby mama denied allegations of being a prostitute, stating that Carter Efe was the one who didn’t provide for their child without her asking.
She wrote on Instagram: “Honestly I never knew there would be a day like this, sitting in front of camera to talk about my private life?? It’s well sadly this is my reality, I have seen everything Carter posted about us however the way he posted it was weird because we were literally together 3 days ago and we had x ,we have a baby together and for you to Cater for your child I will have to come to you before you can give me money even though we aren’t together anymore like you claim
“You stopped me from working, I’ve always wanted to be become an actress but Carter doesn’t want that, I had to kill that dream, I can’t even work at the hospital because he said I would sleep with the doctors at the hospital, this same person blocked all my female friends because he knows I would confide in them, going ahead to post a video of my female friends brother is crazy, if people try to contact me he blocks it, he made sure I kept my family away, honestly when I saw his post about me I was shocked because he called me this morning and told me he was about to post something calling me a prostitute and that he would make sure I don’t ever post myself ever again since he was the one that gave me the platform he would also take the platform from me, God knows everything”.
In another post she also alleged that Carter Efe would hit her despite knowing she was pregnant, saying the experience turned her into a “regular customer” at Cedacare Hospital.
“My pregnancy journey was hell. Carter would always hit me regardless of my condition. It got to a point where every staff at Cedacare knew me. Once I stepped in, they already knew why I came,” she said.
She further revealed that she usually went to the hospital alone, without any support, because she did not want anyone to know what she was going through.
According to her, one of the nurses once questioned why she always came alone, but she could not bring herself to explain the situation. She said she endured everything in silence because she was trying to protect his image and her own dignity.
The lady also alleged that whenever she ran out of the house after being assaulted, Carter would immediately call his family to report that she had left, making it appear as though she was the problem.
She added that she later realised she was only being used for content, stating that while she was genuine in the relationship, his behaviour behind the scenes was “scary”.
“Everything I ever posted or did was from my heart. Making content with your man is not a crime, but the way he treats me afterwards is scary,” she said.
She also cleared the air on the recent livestream drama, insisting that she was not the person who called Carter Efe during his live session, contrary to what many people assumed online.
As of the time of this report, Carter Efe has not publicly responded to these fresh allegations.
