Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo, has announced herself as President General of the ‘Single Mothers’ Association’.
She made the declaration at actress Lola Alao’s birthday party.
Speaking in a now trending video on social media, Iyabo said, “Gone are the days that being a single mother was a stigma.”
Celebrating the achievement of single mothers, the actress said, “Single mothers’ children are now doing great things in our society.
“Now, men are chasing and even begging us the single mothers that they want to marry us as a wife and not side chick because we have experience.
“If a man leaves you, another man will accept you. I’m now the President General of the Single Mothers Association.”
Meanwhile, the Popular Nollywood actress, celebrated her 48th birthday on December 21, expressing that her 48th birthday is her best birthday so far.
She shared lovely photos of herself via her Instagram page, to commemorate her special day.
Iyabo revealed that the best gift she got this year was being addressed as a mother-in-law and a grandmother. She expressed gratitude to her Maker for making it possible, praying for it to be permanent in her life.
She further declared that 2025 is her year, adding that she’s certain that 2026 would bring more achievements.
She wrote: “This is one of my best birthdays. Daddy, adding ‘mother-in-law’ and ‘Glamma’ to my title is the best gift I got this year. Thank you, Lord, — and yes! It shall be permanent.

Celebrating her mother, Priscilla, via her Instagram page, wished her a day as bright, beautiful, and full of joy as she is.
The wife of Tanzanian singer Juma Jux, revealed that her mother is the glue that holds all of them together, praising her for her strength and beauty.
She further explained how the year has been a rollercoaster one, yet her mother has stayed strong. She shared how despite the tough times they faced in Canada, her mother amazed her by turning every bad thing poised against her into good things.
Additionally, Priscilla hailed her for being an amazing grandmother to her son, Prince Rakeem, and also being a second mother to her husband, Juma Jux.
She wrote:
