Reality TV star Phyna has offered emotional support to fellow Big Brother Naija winner Imisi, who is currently locked in a public dispute with her mother.
In an X post on Monday, Phyna wrote, “To Imisi, @imisiofficial and to anyone walking through the same fire… I’m praying for your strength. My own experience broke me, but I’m slowly rising. And I’m rooting for you with everything in me, don’t handle it like I did, build strong and focus on you baby girl.”
Actor Olatayo Amokade, popularly known as Ijebu, also appealed to Imisi to end the rift with her mother. He made the call in a video shared on his Instagram page, addressing the ongoing tension.
The 23-year-old BBNaija winner and her mother have been in conflict since she received her N150 million prize money, with her mother accusing her of abandonment.
Ijebu urged Imisi to reconcile, stressing that her mother remains her spiritual covering. “Imisi, I know you are a good girl. The Bible said we should honour our parents. This evening or tomorrow morning, I want you to visit your mother, go on your knees, hold her legs, and tell her you are sorry. Let her pray for you. No matter what she might have done to you, she is still your mini god on earth. After this, I don’t want to hear any dragging again online. If I hear anything again, I will be so mad at you,” he said.
The actor’s message followed renewed allegations from Imisi’s mother, who claimed her daughter “hates” her and revealed the poor condition of the home she still lives in despite Imisi’s recent financial success.

Responding in Yoruba, Imisi pleaded for understanding, saying, “This is why Aunty Debola said you should not show your face to the world.
I can’t be saying all that now, you are in the midst of people. Just overlook everything and leave social media.
Don’t worry, I will send you money to rent a new house. I am tired of all this drama. I am still recovering from the stress of Big Brother. Should I be facing another stress now? Please forgive me, I am your daughter.”
Her mother had earlier insisted on social media that she did not need her daughter’s money but felt sidelined following Imisi’s win.
The exchange has sparked wider debate online, with many calling for privacy and mediation between the two.
