President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will deliver a nationwide broadcast on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, to mark Nigeria’s 65th Independence anniversary.
According to a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the address will be aired at 7 a.m. across the country.
All television and radio stations, as well as other electronic media platforms, have been directed to hook up to the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the live broadcast.

The President’s message is expected to highlight national progress, challenges, and the government’s vision for the future as Nigeria celebrates over six decades of independence.
