Peller Reportedly Found After Being Allegedly Kidnapped

Nigerian TikTok star Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Peller, was reportedly abducted during a livestream.

Sources indicate that the incident took place on Wednesday night, August 27, 2025.

A video that has since gone viral shows Peller being confronted by several men who instructed him to exit his vehicle. He appeared to mistake the men for security operatives before being taken away.Despite the tense situation, Peller urged the men whose faces were not clearly seen in the footage to remain calm before letting out a loud scream.

In a recent update, fellow TikToker Jidex Klothing confirmed the rumors, revealing that Peller was allegedly kidnapped by unidentified individuals while returning from a restaurant.

“He went to buy food, then on his way back home, those people told him to stop and he stopped. Luckily he was even online”, He stated.

Within hours, additional confusion arose as TikTok creators, referencing model-influencer Sandra Benede—a frequent collaborator with Peller—claimed in a live video that “Peller has been found.”

Confirming the claim, the Lagos State Police Command has also revealed that the TikToker  Peller, is safe despite alleged abduction during a livestream on Wednesday night.

The command’s spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, in an interview on Channels Television’s The Morning Brief on Thursday, said that preliminary checks showed that the content creator was at home and unharmed.

“We are investigating the allegation, but we can confirm that the person in question, Habeeb, popularly known as Peller, is at home safe and sound.

“His vehicle is also intact, all his phones and properties, nothing was missing,” Hundeyin said.

He explained that the police were still reviewing the incident to ascertain whether it was a kidnap, a staged abduction, or a false alarm.

“That is what we are investigating. All his properties were intact, and there was no violence whatsoever,” the police spokesman added.

The social media sensation, who shot to fame in 2021 with his short-form videos and live-streaming on TikTok, has since expanded his brand to livestreaming of shows and events on Twitch.
