Real Madrid fans are asking the club’s president, Florentino Perez, to bring back Cristiano Ronaldo to the Santiago Bernabeu.
The fans hung a banner outside the club’s Valdebebas training complex, demanding the return of the 40-year-old.
The notice was intended for Perez, who was asked to re-sign the striker.
Ronaldo left the club in 2018 and later explained he had to leave following a misunderstanding between him and Perez.
The Portuguese football icon was in the Spain capital city club for nine years from 2009 to 2018.
His contract at current club, Al-Nassr, will expire at the end of the season with talks of a renewal still ongoing.
However, Ronaldo recently wrote that “This chapter is over,” a message that has remained unclear to his fans but has fuelled the speculation about him leaving the Saudi Pro League giants.

Madrid fans left a banner at Valdebebas, which read, according to El Chiringuito TV, “Florentino, sign CR7.”
Although no official statement has been made by the club or the player, the banner has reignited speculation about a possible short-term deal. Given the physical demands and prestige of the upcoming tournament, fans argue that Cristiano’s return could be a strategic and symbolic move to enhance the squad’s strength and morale.
Whether this dream will become reality remains uncertain. However, what’s clear is that the bond between Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid remains as strong as ever, and supporters are not ready to close the chapter just yet.
