Nigerian rapper Onome Onokohwomo, professionally known as Yung6ix, has publicly appealed for assistance in his bid to quit smoking after more than two decades of nicotine use.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the 36-year-old artist revealed that his body “can no longer accept” the habit he’s maintained for 21 years. He admitted that, despite reducing his monthly expenditure on weed to $600, he has struggled to cut the habit entirely.
“Coming out today to tell everyone I need help. I’ve been smoking for 21 years now and my body is telling me to stop. I’m trying but it’s not easy,” Yung6ix wrote. “I’ve reduced how much I spend buying weed to $600 a month and I need help to turn that to $0. Any help?”
